Menu Board

I also made a menu board today using a frame, scrapbook paper & I  printed the words on regular copy paper. I also made the flowers on the board using coffee filters. They are basically just scrunched together.

Cricut Bookmark

I made a cute bookmark today! I may make more of these just for fun or to give as gifts. This is an awesome project for the Create-a-Critter cartridge. That's the one I used today. :)

Felt Coffee Coozie

Today I made a felt coffee coozie. I hot glued buttons on the sides & used a stretchy hair-tie for the closure. I attached it to the buttons with hot glue. Next time I think I will use Velcro for the closure. I found the template at http://www.purlbee.com/.

Ice Cube Painting!

Hello all! I hope everyone is having a good weekend! Mine has been super busy. Teaching preschool, working in a restaurant and being a full-time student proves difficult during weekends like these. As I am preparing for the hectic week ahead, I thought I would post an idea that I've used in my class a few times. I use liquid watercolor paint (can be purchased on amazon, at teacher stores, micheals, craft stores, etc.) and put just a touch in each slot of an ice cube tray. Then I fill with water, place toothpicks in each slot, and freeze! The kids LOVE painting with these. We work on social skills by trading colors, learn what happens when colors mix, and we also talk about what happens when ice melts! It is a great learning experience and the art turns out beautiful!

Cake Pop Valentines

Here is a photo of the cake pop Valentines I made for my preschool class :)

I hand-stamped the tags, signed the back & tied with red ribbon. For the cake pop recipe click here.

Scrapbook Paper Frames

I made these frames today....

I used my Cricut to cut out the letters (intitals of our first names).
Then I used scrapbook paper inside the frames... so many possibilities!
