Summarize & Paraphrase

Hello, all! So, in my class some of my students are still having issues with summarizing and paraphrasing. Not so much the difference between the two, more writing it on their own. With my resources I didn't find anything else that I wanted to give them to practice so, today I made my own worksheet. I also decided I'd share! :)

Spring Break Is Almost Over

Four more days until spring break is over! I am going to be sad but, I'm also getting sort of bored at home. I've been planning a lot and I can't wait to start the novel study for Tuck Everlasting with my class after the OAA's!

Spelling Tic Tac Toe

My students really enjoy doing this for homework instead of a boring old spelling assignment. They love having choices! I have been looking around for a spelling tic-tac-toe that I absolutely loved and just decided to make my own.

First Two Weeks in Fifth Grade

I am officially a fifth grade teacher! These last two weeks have been CRAZY busy! But, I love it! With the year almost over, starting right now is definitely weird. I just can't wait until next year to have my own class and start fresh!
