Cookie Sheet Note Board

I made a cookie sheet note board today. Really cute!
First, I used my Cricut to cut the letters using the All Mixed Up cartridge. (set to 1.5 inches)
Then, I measured out the paper in accordance to my cookie sheet size. (This step is very customizable to your paper, size, and how you want to design your note board)
I then attached everything to the cookie sheet using hot glue. You could also attach everything to magnet backing to be able to change it up for different decor, seasons, etc.

Here is a cute cupcake I made. It would be cute if laminated. Maybe write the child's name on it & hang on their cubby, on the door, etc. Enjoy!
Valentine's Day Decor
I made this cute vase today & it was so simple! I used heart candies, a curved vase and for the top it is a floating candle holder! I then attached ribbon to the top to give it a little extra decoration. Hope you like it!

I created a preschool newsletter template for use in my classroom. I type these out once a month to keep all the parents update on our themes, activities, and any special days or parties. I will probably be making more themed for holidays, seasons, etc. I did create all the images on this newsletter as well so please do not take off the copyright at the bottom. Thanks!
Here is one for February as well... again please give me credit. I created all the images included.
Scrabble Coasters & BEST website EVER!!

This was my craft for the weekend.....Scrabble coasters! These coasters were so easy and turned out great! I found the scrabble pieces on Ebay for about $10 for 100 pieces. Then, I attached them with hot glue I just used a card stock backing but cork board is a good option. Also, if you plan on giving them as a gift or want them to last longer, I would spray them with a protective sealant.
Also... as the title for this post says... I found the BEST website ever for all the crafty people out there! www.save-on-crafts.com
This website has crafting supplies sooo cheap! Enjoy!! :)

TGIF!
So, I am officially in love with etching glass with my Cricut! I etched this jar for Valentine's Day and I plan to fill it with red Hershey's Kisses! I also made this stick candle holder using an idea I found on Pinterest. I absolutely love they way it turned out and plan to make more!
For the jar, I etched "love" with the Cricut cartridge "Create A Critter" and then used hot glue to attach the ribbon.
This candle holder is simply sticks attached to a glass candle holder with hot glue.

With the snow falling like crazy outside today I figured I'd start with some Preschool craft ideas! Some ideas I've used that go along with a snow theme:
-Putting snow in my sensory table (they LOVE this!) Fake snow is also a good option!
-Painting with a shaving cream & glue mixture on blue paper
--we called these our "snow scenes" when you mix the shaving cream & glue together it will stay puffy when dry!
-Cutting snowflakes out of coffee filters (use glitter to make these more interesting)
-Winter hats made from 1/2 of a paper plate, construction paper, cotton ball, & whatever you choose to decorate with!
-Cut out construction paper mittens & decorate!
-Cut out shapes for a snowman, have the children decorate & put together in their own way!
-Journal idea: "My favorite thing about winter is.....because....."
I have also talked to my Preschool class about why it is snowing, what we do with the snow, and what/how things around us change in the winter!

Happy Monday!
Finally started the cookie sheet calander! I'll post pictures when there's something to show! I also made a few candle holders yesterday (in the process of taking pics) and painted a wine glass! Also recently learned to etch glass with my cricut! LOVE IT! I knew that it could be done but had no idea how easy! If anyone is interested in me giving a tutorial let me know! In the meantime... back to crafting!
